The Shoals Chamber is hiring an Operations and Membership Specialist

Expectations: 
The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping the business community, and be a team player ready to build relationships and be actively engaged in all aspects of the Shoals Chamber. This person must be self-motivated, teachable, and be comfortable learning to operate multiple software systems. Furthermore, this individual is expected to:

  • Understand and value the mission and goals of the Chamber
  • Engage with current, former, and prospective Chamber members in a respectful, polished manner
  • Possess expertise and comfortability with technology
  • Ability to work standard office hours and Chamber events on nights and weekends as needed

Skills and Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelors degree preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency with Quickbooks or other similar software
  • Experience in bookkeeping or financial administration is preferred
  • Prior experience in customer service is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to learn software systems
